Alexander Mazzotta is a skilled Mechanical Engineer, brimming with innovative ideas to propel Figure Engineering into the future. Mr. Mazzotta is responsible for detailed mechanical design and 3D CAD, first-article prototyping, subsystem integration, and upkeep of laboratory capabilities. Alex also contributes to business development and inside sales to expose a variety of industries and potential customers to Figure Engineering’s growing list of product and service solutions.

Previously, Alex worked in the lithium-ion battery industry as a manufacturing development engineer where he learned about low-volume automation and replicating sensitive manual processes with advanced sensors and machinery. Alex received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University in 2013. He has continued his education in parallel with his work at Figure Engineering with a Product and Service Design certification from Cornell University.

Outside of work, Alex is an avid soccer player, rock climber, and skier. He thoroughly enjoys cooking (and eating) delicious food or working on his car and motorcycle.
